Abu Dhabi’s ongoing economic diversification efforts received a boost. Its non-oil sector grew 59% in the last 10 years, raising its contribution to the emirate’s GDP to 54% compared to 46% in 2011.
Abu Dhabi also witnessed a 109% increase in high-skilled talents and a 300% increase in foreign investments in the last decade. Construction, finance and insurance, and manufacturing all saw significant growth in the past ten years, with increases of 22.6%, 39%, and 102% respectively.
